Choir Competition
Reminder:
The registration deadline is approaching! Submit your registration by February 27, 2025.
Guidelines for Choir Competition
Eligibility:
The competition is open to choirs of all types, including School, Church & College.
Choirs must register by the deadline and submit all required Tracks (Implies only for track accompaniment choir).
Competition Format:
The competition may consist of a preliminary round if the registered participants exceed more than 20 (Date will be updated via email).
Performance time limit is 5 Minutes per performance.
All choirs must prepare two pieces of their choice. One for a preliminary round and one for Grand finale.

Choir can perform with or without conductor accompaniment.
Choir must maintain uniformity.
Choir should enter and exit the stage efficiently to ensure smooth transitions.
Judging Criteria (100 Points):
Vocal quality (30%)- Tone, Blend, Diction and Tuning.
Musical Interpretation(25%)- Expression, Phrasing and dynamics.
Technical Execution(20%)- Precision & Rhythm.
Stage Presence(15%)- Professionalism, Uniform, engagement and connection with the audience.
Originality & Artistic Expression(10%)- Creativity in interpretation and arrangement.
Participants Code of Conduct:
All participants must upload the spirit of fair competition, respect and professionalism.
Any form of misconduct will lead to disqualification.
Decisions of the judging panel are final and cannot be contested.
Registration & Logistics:
Registration fee of Rs 2500/- must be paid by the deadline.
Choirs must submit a stage plan and technical requirements in advance.
Late arrival may result in disqualification, negative impact or performance rescheduling.
The competition reserves the right to record and broadcast performance for promotional purposes.
Changes to rules or schedules will be communicated promptly to participants.
In case of disputes, the organizing committee’s decision will be final.
