Reminder:

Guidelines for Folk Drama Competition
General Guidelines:
Only one entry shall be accepted from each institution.
Each team should have a minimum of 6 and maximum of 20 participants for the competition.
All team members must be from the same College/University.
A copy of the content of the drama (hard-copy and soft-copy) to be submitted to the coordinators by every competing team before the competition.
Each team will be allotted 20 minutes (max) for performance. This includes stage setting and clearance.
It is compulsory to use the English language throughout the drama presentation. Nevertheless Vernacular language can be blended.
Use of vulgar words is strictly prohibited.
Participating teams can utilize their own additional equipment.
Teams which do not abide by the rules will be disqualified.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Judging Criteria (Out of 100 Marks):
Acting (30%): 1. Characterization 2. Body language and expression 3. Voice modulation
Mechanics (10%): Use of space 2. Relevance of music or songs 3. Movement
Presentation of originality (25%): 1. Content 2. Interpretation 3. Use of language
Overall coordination and Presentation (25%): 1. Stage presence, execution and teamwork 2. Adherence to time limit 3. Costumes & Props
