Road To Fame

Guidelines for Road to Fame

Eligibility and Participation:

1. Contestants must register to participate in the Road to Fame.
2. Each college/School can send only 1 team or representatives.
3. All entrants must follow the guidelines set by the organizers.

Competition Structure:

1. Items can include: Song, Stand-up comedy, Beat box, Dance, Painting, Magic, Martial Arts, Origami etc.… (Solo, Duet & Group). Judging will be based on Talent, creativity, stage presence and audience engagement.
2. Participants must respect the decisions of judges. Any form of manipulation or unfair advantage is prohibited.
3. Each participant will get a maximum time limit of 5 minutes only (warning bell at 4 minutes).
4. All participants must bring their own props/ instruments.
5. If the number of participants exceeds 15, there will be a first round of selection (date to be updated). Failure to turn up for the selection round will result in elimination.

Judging System:

1. A panel of experienced will evaluate performances based on predefined criteria.
2. The participants will be judged based on the following Criteria:
3. Content (Originality, Creativity, Knowledge, Accuracy, Organization of Presentation) – 10 Points
4. Stage Presence (Power of Expression, Persuasiveness, Confidence) – 10 Points
5. Overall Effect (Audience Appeal, Talent Ability, Effectiveness, Time Management) – 10 Points

N.B: Use of vulgar/improper words/mimicry targeting any individual/group should be avoided.
