Guidelines for Traditional Dance

General Guidelines:

1.  Only one entry per Institution is allowed. 
2. Minimum of 8 participants and Maximum 15 participants will be allowed per team. The team may consist of all boys, all girls or a mixture of both. 
3. The number of accompanists permissible is five.
4. Duration of the dance should not be more than 10 minutes. This includes stage setting and clearance.
5.  A copy of a brief note on the description of dance story involved in it, if any, and of the accompanying song, with its meaning in English must be submitted at the time of registration.
6. All participants must bring their own props/ instruments. 
7. The Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
8. The participants will be judged based on the following Criteria:
9. Rhythm - 10 points 
10. Formation - 10 points
11. Expression - 10 points
12. Attires   - 10 points 
13. Sets on overall effect - 10 points
