Secret book exchanges, also known as Book Swaps, are a fun way for book lovers to share and discover new books.
Rules:
The event is open to all member participants from the participating colleges.
The Book Swapper has to write his/er name as well as the name of the college in handwriting in the cover page of the book and not on the book’s jacket.
Wrap the book in plain opaque brown paper. Kindly avoid using plastic and fancy wrapping paper.
Bring the book along. Volunteers will guide participants to the location where the books will be securely and secretly stored.
As the books will be handed over to the in-charges, theBook Swapper will have to fill up the register housing their details, viz., name, college, phone number, and number of books brought for exchange.
Before the end of the day's event, the in-charge will inform all the participants to gather in the designated spot for the exchange to take place.
Each Book Swapper will then pick one book wrapped in brown paper.
If there are any books left behind, they will be donated to a local organization by the organizers.
