Futsal (Women)

Guidelines for Futsal

Players:

1. Each team has four outfielders and one goalkeeper
2. The goalkeeper wears a different color jersey than the outfielders
3. Sliding or slide tackling is not allowed

Fouls and Penalties:

1. Fouls are punished with a direct or indirect free-kick
2. A penalty kick is awarded for a foul inside the penalty box
3. A player who receives a red card must sit out for a minimum of two minutes

Other Rules:

• There is no offsides in futsal
• Each team is allowed one one-minute timeout per half
• Goalkeepers restart play by using their hands to distribute the ball
