Debugging

Guidelines for Debugging

 

Rules:

  1. ELIGIBILITY: Participants must be college students. Solo.

  2. LANGUAGES: The contest will be for programming languages like C++, Python only.

  3. TIME LIMIT: Participants must complete debugging within a given time (e.g., 10 minutes).

  4. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS: Some competitions limit the number of submissions per problem. (Compile or interpret limit = 3 times)

  5. CODE FORMAT: Participants must not change the structure of the code.

  6. NO EXTERNAL HELP: Internet usage, AI tools, or external references will be restricted. No closing the IDE provided.

  7. FAIR PLAY: Plagiarism or copying from others will result in disqualification.

  8. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: Maximum 5 or less participants at a time.

 

Gameplay:

  1. Points will be given for each code debugged.

  2. The player with the most points wins.

  3. Entry fee x and prize money x (to be discussed).
