Guidelines for Web Development Competition

Objective:

1. To encourage creativity, technical skills, and innovation in web development among college students.

Theme:

1. A specific theme or problem statement will be provided at the start of the competition (e.g., sustainability, education, healthcare, etc.).

Duration:

1. 1hr 30 minutes

Resources:

1. System will be provided by the management.

Judging Criteria:

1. Creativity and Innovation: Unique and original ideas that stand out.

2. Functionality: The website should work as intended without critical bugs.

3. User Experience (UX): Intuitive design, ease of navigation and responsiveness.

4. Relevance to Theme: How well the project addresses the given theme or problem statement.

5. Code Quality: Clean, well-structured and commented code.

 Rules and Regulations:

1. Use of AI is prohibited.

2. Plagiarism or use of pre-built templates is strictly prohibited.

3. All submissions must be made before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

4. Language used for design should be HTML 5, CSS and Javascript.

5. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

6. Mentors will be available for guidance during the competition (if applicable).

1. Participants must maintain professionalism and respect towards fellow participants, organizers, and judges.

2. Any form of harassment or unethical behavior will lead to immediate disqualification.
