Guidelines for Football (Men)
General Rules:
- The Football Competition will be played by the Knock-out System.
- All participating footballers must be a student of the participating college and must carry their college IDs at all times.
- Players List consisting a maximum of 18 (eighteen) players and 2 (two) officials should be submitted. Change of the original list will not be entertained after submission.
- The matches will be conducted by certified Referees.
- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) rules and regulations will be upheld. The participating teams shall observe the principles of Fair Play.
- If a team does not report for the match or it refuses to continue to play or leaves the ground before the end of the match, the team shall be considered as having lost the match.
- Complaints regarding the eligibility of any player should be made to the officials before the Kick-Off. No complaints shall be entertained after the match. However, the decision of the Match Officials shall be final and binding.
- In case of any match dispute, the decision of the Match Officials shall be final and binding to all.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to schedule/reschedule the fixtures as per convenience.
- Teams should turn up 30 (Thirty) minutes before schedule. List of the first ELEVEN, with substitutes along with their Jersey numbers and colors should be submitted to the Officials 30 minutes before the match.
- Duration of the football matches till the Semi-Finals shall be 60 minutes (30+30) and Semifinals shall be 80 minutes (40+40) with 10 minutes break. In case of a draw in the SF matches, Tie Break shall be applied to decide the winner.
- The duration of the Football Final Match shall be 80 minutes (40+40) with 10 minutes break. In case of a draw, Tie Break shall be applied to decide the winner.
- A maximum of 5 (five) Substitutes will be allowed per match.
Match Discipline:
- Yellow Card: A warning for unsporting behavior with a fine of Rs, 100/-. Two yellow cards will result in a red card.
- Red Card: Immediate expulsion from the game and with a fine of Rs. 200/-.
- Card fines must be paid to the officials right after the completion of the match.
- A player expelled/sent off (RED CARD or 2 YELLOW CARDS) from the field of play by the Referee shall be suspended for the next match.
- Any footballer using Alcohol, abusing Drugs or involving in any unlawful activity will be disqualified. Disqualified players shall not be replaced.
