Guidelines for Quiz Competition
General Rules:
Only one team entry is allowed from each institute and the team shall consist of two persons.
The decision of the quiz master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments during the quiz time.
There will be two rounds in the quiz competition: Preliminary round or Elimination round and Final round or Stage round.
Preliminary Round:
Each team will be given a set of 10 questions.
Time limit: 10 seconds for each question
Each question will carry 1 mark.
Only the top 3 teams will be selected for the final or stage rounds.
In case of a tie between 2 or more teams, a further 5 questions will be asked for final selection. This step will be continued till the selection of 3 teams.

Final Round:
The final round will consist of the following rounds, the same number and types of questions will be asked.
Round 1: Indian Constitution and Polity (5 questions)
Round 2: Modern History of India With Special Focus on Indian National Movement (5 questions)
Round 3: Nagaland in all Aspects (5 questions)
Round 4 (Buzzer Round): Current Affairs (5 questions)
1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer.
Response time for each question is 10 seconds.
There is no pass option.
Team discussion is allowed.
In the buzzer round the group who hit the buzzer first will be awarded the question. However, if the answer is wrong 0.50 marks will be deducted.
In case of a tie, a rapid-fire round will be conducted where only specific answer questions will be asked.
