Art and Exhibit: Painting

Eligibility

• Open only for college level students

Theme

• The theme will be Youth Quill & Canvas (Creativity and Cultural Vibrancy)
• Participants are expected to interpret and express it creatively

Time Limit

• Duration: 1 hour will be provided to complete the live painting
• Strictly adhere to the time duration of the competition. Late submissions will not be accepted

Materials

• Participants must bring their own painting materials (paints, brushes, palettes, easels etc)
• Only painting/drawing sheets will be provided by the organizers
• All mediums are permitted

Judging criteria

• Creativity & Concept - 30 points
• Relevance to theme - 25 points
• Technique & Skill - 25 points
• Overall impact and presentation - 20 points

General Rules

• The work must be completed individually (no group submission)
• Participants must ensure  originality. Copying or tracing will lead to disqualification
• Artists are required to remain at designated station during the competition
• Name of the college must be written clearly on the back of the canvas/paper
• ID card is compulsory at the time of registration and on the day of the competition
• Judges decision will be final and binding
• Registration is to be done only through the QR code provided in the poster
