A&D Solar Enterprise, in collaboration with Tetso College, successfully hosted the Pow-woW Arena National Level Youth Festival 2026, held from 10th to 13th March 2026 at Tetso College, Dimapur. The festival brought together 33 institutes from across Nagaland and beyond. Shri Kethosituo Sekhose (NCS), Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, was the special guest and presented the overall runners-up and champions of the A&D Solar Enterprise with overall champion bagged Tetso College, and the runners-up were Dimapur Government College.

 

Shri Kethosituo Sekhose (NCS), Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, delivered the Special Guest’s Address, inspiring students and participants towards dedication and sportsmanship. He addressed youths as the future leaders of the nation, but for them to be the true future leaders, students must be someone society can lean on. He also emphasised how Networking is important because it is the one thing that can take you forward in many scenarios. Bringing the Viksit Bharat the vision of the Government of India, he encouraged the students to be part of all sports events especially in the upcoming North East Youth Festival designed by the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, to be held from the 18th till the 20th of March 2026, out of which the last two days will be hosted by Tetso College. He thanked Tetso College for always partnering with the Department on their infrastructure in promoting the growth of Sports in Nagaland.

 

Dr Asenla Yanger, HoD Department of English, Tetso College greeted the students, both external and internal and applauded them on their journey of grit, dedication and sportsmanship showcased by all the teams and institutes throughout this Festival. She spoke on the importance of sports platforms given to students and making good use of them. She also thanked the special guest for his time, which brought encouragement to the youth gathered for the ceremony. She also reminded that the 2nd part of the Pow woW Youth Festival titled “Pow woW Lore”, which will focus on literary and intellectual events, would take place in September 2026.

 

This was followed by an informal programme with presentations by Tetso dance club and special performance by Keneisenuo Sorhie.
