Powwow is an annual youth festival for institutes that began in 2015 at Tetso College, Dimapur Nagaland.
Powwow aims to bring together students from various Institutes all over India to meet, interact, compete and showcase talent in various competitions, to empower them towards lifelong excellence. The events include cultural, literary and sporting competitions, panel discussions and more.
“Powwow” by definition refers to a meeting or large gathering. It also has its roots from a Native American Indian ceremony that involves singing, dancing and feasting.
Tetso College is the flagship organiser of the event in collaboration with other co-sponsors every year.
