MOBILE LEGEND

  1. This Event is an open event, multiple teams from a particular College/Institution/School can participate.
  2. Registration will be done with a payment of Rs 500 as registration fee per team
    1. Institutional registration of Rs 1500 is not required for this event.
    2. All 5 players are from the same College/Institution/School.
    3. College/Institution/School ID card are to be produced during registration.
    4. College/Institution/School uniforms is compulsory .

  4. A player cannot play in multiple teams, if found the team(s) will be disqualified.
  5. A maximum of 5 minutes will be allotted for the teams to gather their players for their match; failing to do so will result in elimination of the team.
  6. Matches will be on a knockout basis.
  7. Matches will be played on BO1 or BO3 basis depending on the number of teams registered, Semi-finals and final will be played on BO3 or BO5 basis depending on the availability of time.
  8. Each team will get two timeouts “PAUSE” chances upon notifying the host. To avail the timeout, one of the players needs to type “PAUSE” in chat and the game will be paused by the host.The host will not pause the game unless notified with PAUSE in chat. Each pause chance will last 2 minutes max.
  9. The players will not be allowed to chat in the game except for typing “PAUSE” .
  10. Trash talking will result in direct elimination.
  11. The decisions made by the tournament host and officials are final.
  12. Participants are to bring their own chargers, power banks, wi-fi/data hotspots etc.
  13. Some of the matches will be broadcasted live for interested students to watch.
  14. The event winning points will/shall not reflect in the overall leader board of the institutional events.

GENERAL RULES FOR GAMING EVENTS FOR DOTA 2, FIFA & PES

  • All players must maintain decorum and respect each other, be their opponents or the organizing crew.
  • Damage of any device(s)/property belonging to the college shall be compensated by the perpetrator himself.
  •  Player(s) intoxicated with alcohol or any other substance will be disqualified from the tournament.
  •  All player(s) should report on time for their matches, if not a grace period of 5 minutes will be provided wherein if the player(s) don’t show up, they will be disqualified and the opposing team will move on to the next round by default.
  • Tournament Fixture/Rounds/Timings of the matches to be played will be announced on the website (powwow.tetsocollege.org).
  •  Players should bring their College Identity Card for verification.
  • Player(s) should arrange their own refreshments.
  • The players will not be allowed to chat in the game except for typing pause for unexpected logout or bugs. If the players use slang words or chat during the game then they will face a penalty.
  • If any bugs are found during the competition, the player must inform the nearest event in-charge immediately.
  • Players found abusing bugs or apps to their advantage will immediately disqualify their team from the event.
  • Match will be restarted if the settings of the server are incorrect.
  • Cheating is strictly prohibited. All players will be closely monitored and if anyone is caught cheating, that player will be disqualified and banned.
  • The decisions made by the tournament host and officials are final..

RULES FOR DOTA 2 (Institutional)

  • Players are requested to bring their own Headsets, Keyboard and Mouse.
  • There should be 5 players in a team. Each team is allowed 1 or 2 substitutes but they are not allowed to enter the room where the games are being played once the drafting phase is done.
  • Once the player names are submitted to the organizer, Players cannot be changed on the event day.
  • Players can only be subbed at the beginning of a series. 
  • The official should be notified in advance if there is a substitution for the said series.
  • If the game/lobby crashes after the match begins, there will be no re-draft. The game will resume/restart with the same heroes.
  • Selection priority for the first game of a match is decided by a coin toss done by the match admin. If there is a second game, the other team will get selection priority. The same process is repeated with a new coin toss for game 3 (if existing) and so forth.
  • In a match consisting of more than one game, the official start time of each following game is set to 5 minutes after the end of the previous game.
  • Each team has the right to pause the game for an acceptable duration, if a player announces it at least three seconds in advance and calls a coherent reason (exception: not necessary, if someone disconnects). The game must not be resumed before both teams agree with it. When the number or the duration of breaks becomes too high or long, the administration may force the continuation of the game.
  • If a player disconnects, the game is to be paused instantly. Everyone has up to ten minutes to reconnect to the game (if the same person disconnects more than once, all times get added up). If this time is passed, the opposing team may continue the game, unless an admin demands the opposite. The affected player is in this case still allowed to rejoin later on.
  • The matches till the Quarter Finals will be played in a knockout series. From the Quarter Finals, the matches to be played will be Best of 3 series. And if time permits, the Finals will be a Best of 5 series.
  • Max 1 team from participating Institute.

RULES FOR FIFA 2022 (Open category)

  • Players are requested to bring their own PC Gaming Consoles.
  • There will be no limits on the number of participants.
  • Registration fees will be Rs. 100/- per player.

RULES FOR PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER (PES MOBILE : Open category)

  • Players should have PES installed on their own devices.
  • Registration fees Rs 50/- per player.
  • This event is open to all for all the participating institutes.

 

**Note: Prize for PES and FIFA, for winner and runner’s up will be given from the overall registration collected amount.
Winner : 50%
Runners up: 30%
